IS GOING TO BE MY YEAR.
first day was awesome, it felt like that... althought I ALREADY HAVE 3 ASSIGNMENTS DUE TO NEXT WEEK hngh i'm looking forward to not procastinate as much as i did last year, i hope i get those things done... I gotta do a power point presentation for english, some kind of handmade log book for art class (i don't really get it but whatever) and videos and photos for dance class, THAT'S RIGHT, HOMEWORK FOR DANCE CLASSES.
I'm so GLAD i won't have ANY SPORTS this year, i hate volleyball and hockey with burning passion and those are the only sports for girls, i wish they had handball, INSTEAD I'LL HAVE DANCE CLASSES awwyis.
I ALSO LOVED THE TEACHERS I GET TO WORK THIS YEAR HNNNGH LAST YEAR'S TEACHERS SUCKED HARD. i feel kinda relieved
Also next week we have some school trip we do every year, we call it "retirement" hurr, it usually lasts for day... from like 8 am to 4 pm... but this time we're gonna go away for three days? idk man, but it seems fun... will be away next wednesday and be back on friday /excitement

I'm having a personal earthquake myself
Whenever i get this nervous i kind of... start shaking
I hope everyone in santiago is doing fine
i... i don't even know what to say, posting here hoping the people i know from santiago would reply
I don't expect anyone to reply for a while thought, they should't even worry about posting comments here or updating journals at dA at all at times like this. how silly of me;;
I've got family and friends there, apparently some are doing fine... haven't heard about the rest of them... my mom woke us up at 7:45 am "There was an Earthquake in Santiago"
I'm currently watching CNN now, it was a 8.8 quake that hit the coast of Chile at approx. 3:34 am and it lasted for over 45 secs, about one and a half minute actually, they say it was 1000 times stronger than Haiti's, there are tsunami warnings for south and central america if i heard right, Ecuador, Peru and Chile
At the moment there are 52 confirmed deaths here and the number of deaths is going to rise... also collapsed buildings and power power outrage.
There are also Tsunami warnings for Australia, Hawaii, Japan and Philippines. Also heard Japan had an Earthquake as well yesterday, I hope people are ok there as well.

Nothing has happened in my area yet, we're really far away from the epicenter.
we DID get a really strong wind today, i'd say over 70 kmph, the fence in our backyard was moving like if we actually had an earthquake here. I really hope it has nothing to do with these disasters since we get strong wind a lot here... but there's a chance that it's related with the sea? i don't know.
Internet keeps dying as well so i get disconnected a lot.
phone lines are collapsed as well.
So far number of deaths has increased from 300 to 708 during the night, the number of missing people is increasing as well... and there's a lot of rioting...
This doesn't even seem real it looks like it was from an horror movie...
Luckily i've heard that my family and most of my friends are okay in santiago and other cities... but i still have to see any sign from

What's with all of them happening now?
This may sound like an old topic by now but I though i'd just share what's going on in my head at the moment?
Where to begin
I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the earthquake my country went through about 3 weeks ago...
This week i was sick so I stayed the whole week at my grandparent's house... I think it was last thursday when my aunt came home to lunch as usual when she starts talking about how there was a rumor about some catastrophe that was going to happen in our area?
The thing is that there was a woman in our city that said "I hope those who are still on holidays in the north of Chile will come back before the 27th" because she knew that there was going to be a catastrophe... and well, it happened.
Then my aunt starts to talk about how the same woman said that there was going to be a catastrophe HERE? around the 27th of March? next saturday apparently.
Hmm lets see... the epicenter was there:
Now a couple of hours ago I was chatting with
on msn and I suddenly remember how i heard there was a tremor on her region (Chile is divided in "regions" for those who doesn't know, they're pretty much equivalent to States IMO, but i keep calling them regions)I ask her and she says that there was, indeed, a tremor, but then she also tells me a Volcano in that region is expected to erupt this week as well as how there was a catastrophe supposed to happen this upcoming week (this one [link] the MeliMoyu volcano)
There's an article about it here [link] but it's in Spanish, i doubt most of you will understand it...
this is were and I live... approx. just to leave things clear, our regions aren't -usually- sismic zones...I've heard from my grandparents that our region had an earthquake over 70 years ago and that it's expected that every 70 years our region is supposed to have tremors but we've already passed that limit
My point is that, as much as i don't believe what that woman said about the 27th of March... yet there are some concerning coincidences about... for example the volcano erupting exactly this week as well?
